Are Asian females obsessed with eyelid surgery?

I’m not being racist-I like Asian women a lot.
I am curious-are a lot of Asian females obsessed with eyelid surgery? Why do they want to get it?
IMO I think they are fine the way they are.

You’re really ignorant. I know many female Asians with eyelids (OMG! Die!) & N0, it’s not because they had eyelid surgery.

mostly from japan,korea and 2nd is china.

I was lucky I was born with rather American-looking eyelids.
I did an essay on beauty and Korea actually had doubled America in the amount of plastic surgery done.
the top two fixes being the eye lids and calf muscle removal.
Why are girls obsessed with getting bigger boobs.
Many are pretty with or with out double C’s
There are just some who want to try and improve their self-image and feel that thisi s the best method.

they want it to appear more canadian or american like..or some people just cant see proporly because there eye lids are to low and coveing there eyes…and no they are not obbsessed with it ..some people (not just asians)get it to make them selfs happier with there apperances..hope i helped..

I’ve never heard of eyelid surgery but I suppose they are trying to look more caucasian.
When I went to China over the summer I noticed that many of the ads and billboards had caucasian models. Also, many women carried around umbrellas when it was sunny so they wouldn’t get tan.

The epicanthal fold is not considered as desirable as the wide eyed, Western eyes…

It’s prevelant in south korea, but i am sure there are some asian women who aren’t ashamed of their culture. and more power to them!

East Asians, because of the climate, tend to have slanted and slimmer eyes and single eye lid folds, while south eastern and south asians have wider eye lids.
Eye lip surgery can make their eyes look bigger and thus look prettier and has nothing to do with cauasian eyes whatsoever.
Chinese women carry umbrella around in summer to avoid getting tan. The chinese old sayings thousand years is still with us: a lighter skin covers 3 ugly features.
I use umbrella in the summer too. When I get tan, all my freakles come out and they look terrible. To what we think, freakles are very ugly and look dirty. Thats why we maintain our skin pale.
