Q&A: Breast Implants?
Question by ~Mandi~: Breast Implants?
I’m 22-I’m wanting to get breast implants. However, I’m also planning on having more kids (I have one already) so I was wondering if anyone has gotten implants and been okay with breastfeeding afterwards, or if you know how they would put the implants in and have me still be able to breast feed later in the future???

Docs really dont like to put implaint in knowing that you still want kids. From what I know you cant breastfeed if you have implants. I would wait to get them until after you have your last child. That way you dont have to go in for a second time be cause of the sag that your get after haveing the baby

If you get implates you won’t be able to breastfeed at all. You will have to give your child formula

I’m an old hand at breasts. I therfore highly recommend that you complete the baby making before spending your money on augmentation. This will help ensure the longevity of your desired physique.

yes you can still breastfeed with implants, it really depends on how the implants are done. if through the nipple you chance the loss of any sensation of the nipple and might cause a discomfort in nursing. an alternative to this is getting the implants through a small incision made in the belly button, this allows you to keep all nipple sensitivity and tends to heal much faster without any visible scarring. again, if the implant is placed under the muscle and milk glands you are more likely to breastfeed later on. most doctors will advise not getting them until you have had your child. but talk to your doctor or surgeon and see what advise they give to you.

God people are stupid.
You CAN breastfeed after having a breast augmentation. You can even get silicone and breast feed (gasp, shocking I know!).
Get some real advice instead of what these folks have to say. There’s this great forum at http://www.breastimplants411.com. The ladies there can give you a heads up on anything you want to know.
My advice? If you plan on having another kid within the next 3 years…wait. If any longer than that, get ‘em done.
Good luck to you
